Through this, we process your personal data in order to engage in a dialogue with you — for example, to respond to questions about our services.

 

Stork Scan registers the following information:

• Name

• Email

• Phone number

• Address

• Civil registration number (CPR)

• Health information

 

The data is collected either through online booking or verbally. The information is used for treatment and medical record purposes. Our booking and record systems use SSL encryption to ensure secure communication. Personal data can be deleted at any time upon your request. You also have the right to obtain or transfer your information for other processing purposes. When booking a service, Stork Scan actively collects your consent, through which you automatically accept our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Customers

 

We need to communicate with our customers to ensure that services are delivered correctly. In this context, we may process data such as name, address, services, specific agreements, payment details, and similar information. The legal basis for processing this personal data is GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

 

Accounting

We are required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act to retain all accounting records. This means that we store invoices and similar documentation for accounting purposes. These may include general personal data such as name, address, and service descriptions.

Our legal basis for processing personal data for bookkeeping purposes is GDPR Article 6(1)(c). We store this data for a minimum of 5 years after the end of the relevant financial year.

 

Job Applications

We welcome job applications to assess whether a candidate matches a staffing need within our company.

If you send us a job application, our legal basis for processing your personal data is GDPR Article 6(1)(f).

If you submit an unsolicited application, we will immediately assess whether it is relevant. If not, your data will be deleted. If you apply for a posted position, your application will be deleted if you are not hired, and immediately after the suitable candidate has been found.

 

Data Processors

It is our responsibility to ensure that your personal data is processed correctly. Therefore, we place high demands on our partners and require them to guarantee that your data is protected. We enter into data processing agreements with all partners who handle personal data on our behalf, to enhance the security of your data.

Terapeut Booking
Terapeut Booking is our booking system, which stores your data. All data is protected under the GDPR. The data collected about you during booking and record-keeping — as well as any information you register yourself via online booking — is encrypted and treated confidentially.

 

GE Healthcare
Our ultrasound equipment collects image material and medical records during scans. All data is stored locally on the ultrasound machine and is only accessible to our healthcare professionals and employees of GE Healthcare

Denmark.

 

Stork-scan.com
When visiting our website, stork-scan.com, we automatically collect information about your visit. This information is not used to identify you, but to analyze general user behavior on our website.

Right to Erasure

In special cases, you have the right to have your data deleted before our regular deletion schedule.

 

Right to Object

You have the right, in certain cases, to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. You can also object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

 

Withdrawal of Consent

When our processing of your data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

Terms and Conditions for Scans and Consultations

Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in person at the clinic.

Payment is made before or after the service is provided.

Cancellations must be made by phone (+45 93 92 64 41) or email (kontakt@stork-scan.com) at least 24 hours before the booked appointment. Late cancellations will incur a fee equal to half the price of the booked service.

Failure to attend without cancellation will result in full payment for the booked service. All scan packages are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

 

Confidentiality

All Stork Scan employees are bound by professional confidentiality regarding health and personal matters. All sonographers hold valid authorization, which can be provided to the client upon request.
